Foot tattoo infection?

You profile thumbnail isn't much help and if an experienced tattooist looks at your foot he/she would know what it is right away. So an educated guess is all I can do and it sounds like you do have an infection in part of your tattoo. A fresh tattoo on the foot can be uncomfortable under any circumastances and it's always a good idea to keep off your feet and elevate them for as much as possible when first done. As you explained a raw spot where there was color put tells me that the tattooist may have been a little aggressive tattooing that area which can strip a layer of skin off and leave the under layer exposed which causes plasma to run in that location. Keeping it covered with film wrap and applying ointment frequently adds to the problem as the skin cannot breathe being covered and the ointment adds to that condition. It doesn't sound serious yet so dry it up for a day or so and if it doesn't look any better it might be a good idea to consult with your physician.
