I beat up my friend so what will happen?

I was at my friends house and he owns a cat. I was just sitting on his couch and and then when he left i stomped my foot and accidentally did it on his cats tail so the cat immediately jumped on the couch and scratched my face. It was clinging to my face so i grabbed it's tail and it got madder so i pulled the thing off and i slammed it to the ground and kicked it. When i kicked it, i did it because of instincts and i didn't notice but the cat knocked down my friends t.v. monitor. So my friend returned and said "wtf" and he started beating me. I wasn't gonna let him beat me so i fought back and i beat him up. I drew blood from his head, mouth, and nose.I just left and later that day his mom came to my house and she just said something to my mom and now my mom won't talk. I think my mom is an idiot. What is going on here?
