Why is my little sister so attached to me?

My little sis is extremely attached to me she is only 5 and I was leaving my house to go to work and she clings to my arm and wont let go of me so I called the baby sitter to get her off of me but she wont let go the we finnally pull her off and she clings to my waste then my leg. When we get her to let go I head to my car and my sister comes running outside clinging to me again and then my car. and everytime we reach for her she clings somewhere else So I just decided to take her with me. Is this normal?
